Physician-Led Women’s Hormone Care

Women’s Hormone Care in Los Angeles & Beverly Hills

Hormonal symptoms in women can reflect menopause, perimenopause, thyroid disease, medication effects, sleep problems, metabolic conditions, genitourinary changes, and other medical concerns. David Nazarian, M.D., Board Certified in Internal Medicine, provides individualized evaluation and treatment based on symptoms, medical history, clinically appropriate testing, risks, preferences, and treatment goals.

Start With the Concern Most Relevant to You

Women’s hormone care is not a single treatment. The appropriate pathway depends on the clinical question.

How We Evaluate Hormonal Symptoms

Symptoms such as fatigue, weight change, mood changes, poor sleep, low libido, brain fog, hair or skin changes, hot flashes, and vaginal symptoms are not specific to one hormone disorder. Evaluation may include review of medications, menstrual and reproductive history, menopause stage, thyroid function, metabolic factors, nutritional deficiencies, sleep, mood, and other medical contributors.

Laboratory testing is selected according to the clinical situation. A single abnormal hormone value does not automatically mean hormone therapy is needed.

Treatment Decisions Are Individualized

When treatment is appropriate, we discuss expected benefits, limitations, alternatives, important risks, route of administration, duration, and follow-up. Options may include hormonal and non-hormonal therapies depending on the diagnosis and patient preferences. Ongoing monitoring is used to reassess symptoms, safety, adverse effects, laboratory findings when indicated, and whether treatment should be continued, adjusted or discontinued.
