Telehealth Hormone Services for Fresno & Clovis Patients

Physician-led hormone evaluation and ongoing telehealth care for eligible California patients in Fresno & Clovis and the Central Valley. Care is provided by David Nazarian, MD, from our Los Angeles practice.

Telehealth can improve access for Central Valley patients who may have fewer convenient options for specialized hormone-focused internal-medicine care and would otherwise travel long distances.

Telehealth Hormone Care for Central Valley

We serve eligible patients in Fresno, Clovis and surrounding Central Valley communities. The goal is not to replace local primary, emergency, or specialty care. Instead, telehealth provides access to a physician-led hormone evaluation when remote care is appropriate.

Visits may address menopause and perimenopause symptoms, testosterone deficiency, estrogen and progesterone questions, thyroid concerns, metabolic and insulin-related issues, cortisol and adrenal disorders, and other symptoms that may have a hormonal component.

What to Expect From a Telehealth Evaluation

Comprehensive history: Symptoms, medications, medical history, prior hormone treatment, family history and health goals are reviewed.

Targeted testing: Laboratory testing is selected according to the clinical question rather than using the same panel for every patient.

Individualized recommendations: Results are interpreted in the context of overall health. Hormone medication is considered only when clinically appropriate and after discussion of alternatives, limitations and important risks.

Follow-up and monitoring: Ongoing care may include repeat laboratory testing, symptom review, dose adjustment when indicated and coordination with other clinicians.

Hormone Care for Women and Men

Women: Telehealth evaluation may include perimenopause, menopause, hot flashes, sleep changes, genitourinary symptoms, changes in libido, bone-health considerations, and questions about estrogen or progesterone therapy.

Men: Evaluation may include symptoms associated with testosterone deficiency, sexual health concerns, body-composition changes, fertility considerations, sleep and metabolic factors, and questions about testosterone therapy.

Symptoms such as fatigue, mood changes, weight changes, hair changes and low libido are not specific to hormone deficiency. A broader medical evaluation may be necessary before attributing them to hormones.

Accessing Care From Fresno & Clovis

Ordered laboratory testing can often be completed near Fresno or Clovis and reviewed remotely. Treatment decisions remain individualized and a telehealth consultation does not guarantee medication.

Prescriptions are not guaranteed. Medication is prescribed only when the physician determines that it is medically appropriate and legally permitted. Patients with urgent or potentially serious symptoms should seek appropriate in-person or emergency care.

Physician-Led, Multidisciplinary Evaluation

Dr. David Nazarian is board certified in Internal Medicine. His approach considers hormone findings alongside cardiovascular health, bone health, metabolic factors, sleep, medications, lifestyle and other medical conditions when relevant. The objective is an evidence-informed evaluation rather than treatment based on symptoms or a single laboratory value alone.
